What are restaurants committing to?

Participating in the Leifur Arnar project indicates that a particular restaurant has taken a significant step towards minimising its operations' adverse environmental effects. The following three requirements are expected of the restaurants:

  1. Encourage customers to take the leftovers home with them and make the project logo visible where necessary.
  2. Gather and deliver all used oil for the creation of biodiesel.
  3. Gather and deliver all organic waste to a composting facility.
